Anthony Joshua prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-bout fight which will be shown live on Netflix.
British boxer Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" the American and "break" his opponent as the pair came face-to-face to build hype for next month's heavyweight fight.
Former twice unified boxing king Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami arena on December 19th.
Fighter's Mentality
"I'm going to break his face and hurt his body. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35 years old, stated.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I'm going to seriously aim to cause him pain. That's my goal."
Civil Exchange
In spite of such comments, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - normally famous for his showmanship - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul rather attacked ex Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and called him "a joke" after the Cameroonian rejected a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Fury
Joshua, at the same time, took aim at UK rival Tyson Fury - and refused a large bet 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul outshines Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua stated.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Fighter
Despite declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Joshua refused to talk badly about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he stated.
Paul's History
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mostly fought MMA fighters or faded names since turning professional.
He was defeated by Briton Fury in last year.
Financial Attraction
Nevertheless, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of boxing's biggest money-making draws, regularly earning substantial financial rewards.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28-year-old forecast a knockout win in round four or five and stated he would stop the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly in the works for two years from now.
"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul said.
Size Disparity
As both boxers participated in the customary confrontation, with their height and weight contrast on show, it emphasized just how surprising this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the bout is really proceeding.
